Champions League final

The UEFA Champions Association is an yearly club football competition organized by the Union of European Football Affiliations (UEFA).. It is one of the most prestigious tournaments in the world and features the top teams from Europe's domestic leagues.

The Champions League was first established in 1955 as the European Champion Clubs' Cup and has undergone several format changes over the years. The current format, introduced in 1992, involves a group stage followed by a knockout stage.

During the group stage, 32 teams are divided into eight groups of four, with each team playing home and away matches against the other teams in their group. The top two teams from each group advance to the knockout stage, which consists of rounds of two-legged knockout matches leading to the final.

The final is usually held in late May or early June and is a single match hosted at a predetermined neutral venue. The winning team is crowned the champions of Europe and earns the right to compete in the FIFA Club World Cup.

Real Madrid is the most successful club in the history of the Champions League, having won the tournament 13 times. Other notable winners include AC Milan, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, and Liverpool.
